About Eri Silk (Ryndia)

Eri, or 'ahimsa' peace silk, is spun from cocoons the moth has already left, making it the only silk produced without harm. In Meghalaya it is woven as 'Ryndia' and coloured with lac, turmeric and iron-rich mud into earthy, breathable wraps.
