About Kashmir Pashmina & Kani Shawl

Pashmina is hand-spun from the downy underfleece of Changthangi goats reared at 4,000 m in Ladakh, then woven and often embroidered in Kashmir. The Kani shawl, built motif-by-motif on tiny wooden bobbins, can take years and is the pinnacle of the craft.
