Welcome to VedikCraft ("VedikCraft", "we", "us"). By browsing or buying on vedikcraft.com you agree to these terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old — or have parental/guardian consent — to create an account or place an order. By using the site you confirm you meet this requirement.

2. Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, are used fraudulently, or for any other lawful reason.

3. Products & authenticity

Every listing on VedikCraft is handmade by Indian artisans and described as accurately as we can. Where a Geographical Indication (GI) certification exists, we show it on the product page. Because all pieces are handmade, natural variation in colour, grain, texture and finish is expected and is not a defect. Product images are representative; dimensions and weights are approximate.

4. Pricing & availability

Prices are shown in your local currency and may include applicable taxes where indicated. International buyers are responsible for any import duties or taxes levied by their destination country. Prices and availability may change without notice, but we will always honour a confirmed order at the price displayed at the time of purchase, or refund it in full if we cannot fulfil it.

5. Orders & payment

An order is confirmed once payment is authorised and you receive an order confirmation email or SMS. We accept Cash on Delivery (India only) and the online payment methods displayed at checkout. Payment card details are handled by our payment partners and are never stored on our servers.

6. Cancellations

You may request a cancellation before your order is dispatched by emailing support@vedikcraft.com with your order number. Once dispatched, cancellation is not possible; please refer to our Returns & Refunds policy instead. Custom or made-to-order pieces may not be cancelled after production has begun — this will be clearly stated on the product page.

7. Shipping & delivery

Delivery timelines are estimates and depend on the artisan's dispatch schedule, your location and courier conditions. Full details on timelines, packaging and customs are on our Shipping & Delivery page.

8. Returns & refunds

Our returns and refunds policy is incorporated into these terms by reference. Please read the Returns & Refunds page before placing an order. In summary: damage or defects must be reported within 7 days of delivery with photographic evidence.

9. Sellers

Artisans and craft businesses ("sellers") list and fulfil products through the VedikCraft platform. Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings and for timely fulfilment. VedikCraft vets and moderates all listings for authenticity but is not the seller of record. Disputes with a specific seller should be raised with us via support@vedikcraft.com and we will mediate. 10. Intellectual property

The VedikCraft name, logo, website design and original content are owned by VedikCraft or its licensors and are protected by Indian and international copyright and trademark law. Sellers retain ownership of their product descriptions and photographs but grant VedikCraft a non-exclusive licence to display and promote them on the platform and in marketing materials. You may not reproduce, redistribute or exploit our content without prior written permission.

11. Prohibited conduct

• Posting false, misleading or infringing content
• Attempting to access accounts or systems you are not authorised to use
• Using the site for fraudulent transactions or money laundering
• Scraping, crawling or automating the site without our written consent

12. Limitation of liability

VedikCraft is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, except those implied by law and not excludable. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, our total liability for any claim arising from use of the site or a product purchase is limited to the value of the relevant order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses.

13. Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from or relating to these terms shall first be referred to good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under India's Consumer Protection Act 2019, including the right to approach the appropriate Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or by a notice on the site. The effective date at the top tells you when the current version took effect. Continued use of VedikCraft after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
