Seller terms

These Seller Terms govern your use of VedikCraft as an artisan, weaver, family workshop or craft cluster (a seller). By listing on VedikCraft, you agree to them. VedikCraft is an intermediary marketplace: we provide the storefront and bring buyers; you remain the maker and seller of your craft.

Who can sell

• You must make or produce genuine Indian handicraft — not resell mass-produced or imported imitations.
• You must be able to fulfil orders and provide accurate details about yourself, your craft and your region.
• Sellers are approved before going live; we may decline an application at our discretion.

Listing & pricing

You enter your cost (supply) price for each piece — the amount you wish to receive. VedikCraft then applies the relevant category markup and sets the retail price shown to buyers. You are paid your supply price for each delivered order.

• Listings must be accurate — photos, materials, dimensions, region and dispatch times.
• Payouts are settled manually by VedikCraft after an order is delivered. We'll confirm your payout schedule and the bank or UPI details we'll use.

Authenticity & GI obligations

• You warrant that every piece is authentic and handmade as described.
• Any Geographical Indication (GI) claim you make must be true and, where required, supported by valid registration or proof.
• Misrepresenting authenticity or origin is grounds for immediate suspension. See our authenticity & GI promise.

One craft per seller

Each seller account is locked to a single craft category and region. This keeps expertise genuine and provenance trustworthy for buyers. If you practise more than one distinct craft, talk to us first.

Order fulfilment

• Dispatch orders within the handling time stated on your listings.
• Pack pieces securely; handmade goods deserve careful handling.
• Keep stock and availability accurate to avoid cancellations.
• Honour our buyer policies, including returns, refunds and cancellations, for issues caused by the product or fulfilment.

Prohibited items

• Mass-produced, counterfeit or imported imitation goods
• Items that infringe another's intellectual property or GI rights
• Anything unlawful, unsafe or restricted under Indian law
• Goods made using protected wildlife or prohibited materials

Approval, suspension & termination

We may approve, decline, suspend or terminate a seller account where these terms are breached — including inauthentic listings, repeated fulfilment failures, prohibited items or conduct that harms buyers or other makers. You may close your account at any time; pending obligations (including delivering accepted orders and any owed payouts) continue to apply.

Intermediary & legal

VedikCraft acts as an intermediary marketplace and is not the manufacturer of the goods you list. You remain responsible for the goods you sell and their compliance with applicable law.
