The story of Jaipur Blue Pottery
Jaipur's blue pottery is unusual in using no clay at all — a frit of quartz and ground glass shaped and glazed in signature cobalt blue and turquoise. Persian in origin, its floral and bird motifs became a Jaipur royal signature.
