Zero fees. You keep 100%.
You're a supplier, not a commission-paying seller. The price you list is the price you receive — every rupee of it. We make our money from our own margin, added on top and paid by the customer.
Most marketplaces take a cut of what artisans earn. VedikCraft doesn't. We charge you nothing. You set your supply price; we add our own retail margin on top; the customer pays that retail price; and you receive your full listed price. List your price. Keep 100%. Pay nothing.
What we charge you
- Commission: none — 0%.
- Listing fee: none. List as many pieces as you like.
- Payment / transaction fee: none. Gateway costs are ours.
- Subscription: none. No monthly or annual fee.
- Payout fee: none. You're paid your full amount.
There is no fine print here. Every fee a typical marketplace charges, we charge zero of.
A worked example
Suppose you list a piece at ₹1,000 — that's your supply price, the amount you want to receive.
- VedikCraft adds its own margin on top and sets the retail price the customer sees — say ₹1,400 (the figure is illustrative; the actual retail price is set by our category markup).
- The customer pays ₹1,400.
- You receive your full ₹1,000 — your listed price, with nothing deducted.
- The ₹400 margin is the marketplace's. It is added on top and paid by the customer — it is never taken from your ₹1,000.
Sell five of that piece and you're owed ₹1,000 × 5 = ₹5,000 — paid to your bank or UPI, in full.
How this compares to commission marketplaces
On a typical marketplace charging, say, a 15% commission, that same ₹1,000 listing would earn you only ₹850 — the platform keeps ₹150 of your price, plus often a listing fee and a payment fee on top. Across many sales, that adds up to a large share of your income.
On VedikCraft you'd receive the full ₹1,000. Typical marketplaces take 5–25% from the artisan; VedikCraft takes 0%. Our margin sits on top of your price and is paid by the customer, so your earnings are never reduced by it.
Why we can do this
We're a reseller-style marketplace, not a commission platform. We earn from our own retail margin — the difference between the price we set for customers and the price you set for us. That keeps our interests aligned with yours: we succeed by selling more of your craft, not by taking a slice of each sale.
