About this collection
This page holds 30 small Durga and Devi idols from ₹155, in heights from 1.5 to 3.7 inch. All 30 are pure brass and made in Moradabad.
The page covers more than one form of the Devi, so read the name on the listing. Durga Maa is the one most buyers search for, listed at 2.1 and 3.5 inch among others. There are also Kali Maa, Parvati, Santoshi Maa, Annapurna and Kamakshi, each a separate idol and not a variant of Durga. Choose the form your family worships, then the size. Durga with eight or ten arms has fine, thin detail around the hands and weapons, so on a dashboard pick a compact piece with a flat base, set it on a non-slip pad and keep it clear of anything that slides. A 2 to 2.5 inch idol suits a car or a travel kit. A 3 to 3.7 inch idol suits a desk or shelf mandir. Weight runs from 20 g to 1.96 kg, and half the pieces cost ₹735 or less.
Sindoor and kumkum settle between the arms and in the lion's mane. Use a soft, dry toothbrush to lift the powder before you wipe, so it does not turn to paste and stain the brass.
