About this collection

Tulsi Vivah, the marriage of the tulsi plant to Shaligram or Vishnu, falls on Saturday 21 November 2026, two days after Dev Uthani Ekadashi when the gods wake and the wedding season opens. The puja needs a kalash of water, a lota for the abhishek, diyas around the tulsi, a chowki for Shaligram, and in homes without a live plant, a brass tulsi.

This page gathers those pieces. The brass tulsi plants are cast with the pot and leaves in one piece and sit on a mandir shelf year round; the kalash and lota come back out for every puja.

Good to know

What is needed for Tulsi Vivah puja?
A tulsi plant or brass tulsi, a Shaligram or Vishnu idol on a chowki, a kalash with mango leaves, a lota, diyas, a red chunri for the tulsi, haldi, roli, chawal, flowers, sugarcane for the mandap, and sweets.
Can a brass tulsi be used for the puja?
Yes, where a live plant is not possible. It is kept in the mandir and worshipped the same way.
What is Dev Uthani Ekadashi?
The eleventh day of the bright half of Kartik, 19 November 2026, when Vishnu wakes from his four-month sleep. Tulsi Vivah is held on the next day or the day after, and weddings resume.
How many diyas around the tulsi?
Five or eleven, lit at sunset. Brass diyas are safer around a plant than clay ones that can tip.
When should I order?
By 16 November for delivery before Tulsi Vivah.
