Choose by where it will be displayed. The 11 to 14.4 inch pieces sit well on a bookshelf, a bar counter or a side table. The 17 to 24.4 inch pieces are corner-table or console pieces. The 29.1 inch and 36 inch hookahs stand on the floor, in a baithak, a lounge, a restaurant or a hotel lobby. Note the weight before you place a tall one. These pieces are light for their height, from 180 g to 1.76 kg, so a tall hookah should stand in a corner or against a wall where it will not be knocked over.
The two finishes need different care. Polished brass can be brightened with a brass polish or lemon and salt. The black design should only be dusted with a dry cloth, because an acid cleaner or a hard scrub will lift the dark finish.
