This page holds 49 small Lakshmi idols from ₹325, in heights from 1.1 to 3.6 inch. Forty-eight are pure brass and one is aluminium. All are made in Moradabad, and every listing shows the height and the weight.
Start with where she will sit. For a car, look at the base in the photos before the face: a dashboard piece needs a flat base, and it should be fixed on a non-slip pad, low enough that it does not block the road. The 2 to 2.7 inch idols are the usual dashboard pick. For an office desk or a shop counter, the 3 to 3.6 inch pieces are easier to see from across the table. Many shopkeepers keep a small Lakshmi beside the cash box, and the 1.1 and 1.6 inch pieces fit a travel pooja kit or a narrow shelf mandir. Weight runs from 20 g to 2.84 kg, so two idols of the same height can be very different in the hand. Half the pieces here cost ₹720 or less.
Kumkum and haldi leave a crust on brass if they sit for weeks. Wipe the idol with a damp cloth after puja, and when the metal darkens rub it with lemon and salt, rinse and dry at once.
