About this piece

This Ashta Laxmi lota for pooja is 5 inches high and weighs 500 grams. It is pure brass, polished in Moradabad, and sized for a small home puja. The shoulder and neck are finished evenly.

Wipe with a soft dry cloth after each puja and keep it dry. Use lemon and salt on tarnish, then rinse. It is a useful gift for a family puja or a wedding.

How it is made

Brass is melted and poured into sand moulds, cooled, then turned on a lathe to true the shape. Engravers cut the pattern by hand with a hammer and chisel. The piece is polished on a buffing wheel and sealed with a clear lacquer so it stays bright without weekly cleaning.

Care, shipping and returns

Wipe with a dry cloth. Keep away from detergents and damp. Handmade pieces vary slightly in finish, that is the point.

Dispatch in 1 to 3 working days from India by tracked courier. Shipping is charged by parcel weight and shown at checkout. Import duties and taxes, if any, are collected by the courier on delivery.
