Big Krishna Statue in Brass (Large Krishna Murti with Flute, 15 to 78 inch)

This page holds 33 big Krishna statues from ₹9,400, in heights from 15 to 78 inch. Thirty are pure brass, two are aluminium and one is silver plated. They weigh from 2.1 kg to 149 kg and are made in Moradabad.

Every piece is Krishna standing with the flute, so the choice comes down to height, weight and finish. An 18.5 inch statue at 6.23 kg or a 20 inch one fits a home pooja room or a foyer. The 28 to 30 inch statues are hall, hotel lobby and temple pieces; two 30 inch statues are listed at 15.6 kg and 17.16 kg, so compare weights when heights match. The 78 inch statue is taller than a person and is a temple or institution order. Half the statues cost ₹39,740 or more. A standing Krishna is tall and narrow, so it depends on its base more than a seated idol does. Put it on a firm, level platform away from a door that swings, and use two people to lift. Hold the base and the waist, never the flute or the raised arms.

Aluminium statues are much lighter than brass of the same height, which helps on an upper floor or a wooden mandir. They need only a dry cloth. Brass wants a lemon and salt rub or brass polish when it dulls.
