Shiv Parivar Murti in Brass for Home Mandir
shiv parivar murti · shiv parvati ganesh kartikeya · shankar parivar · pital ki shiv parivar murti · bholenath family idol
About this collection
This page holds 35 Shiv Parivar idols from ₹295, from 1.5 inch to 16.5 inch tall. Thirty-two are pure brass and 3 are aluminium. A Shiv Parivar murti shows Shiva and Parvati with Ganesh and Kartikeya on one base, and several designs include Nandi as well.
Because four or five figures share one casting, a Shiv Parivar idol is wider than a single deity of the same height. Measure the width of your shelf, not only its height. The 2 and 2.5 inch pieces are for a desk or a car. For a home mandir, 4 to 6 inch is the common pick. Idols of 8 to 10 inch need a pooja room, and the 14 inch and 16.5 inch pieces are temple or hall size. Weight runs from 80 g to 15.5 kg. A 4.5 inch brass idol here weighs 860 g and an 8.5 inch one weighs 3 kg, which gives you a feel for how solid the castings are. Prices go up to ₹40,270.
The aluminium idols are lighter and cost less, and they stay bright with a dry wipe. Brass needs lemon and salt now and then. Use a soft brush between the figures, where dust and kumkum collect.
