About this piece
This glass, a gilas in a bear-mug style, is 4.5 inches high and weighs 370 grams. It is polished in Moradabad and is silver plated. The glass is smooth to hold and suits a festive drink.
Rinse with warm water and dry the outside with a cloth. Avoid harsh scouring on the silver-plated surface. It is a graceful gift for a wedding.

How it is made
Brass is melted and poured into sand moulds, cooled, then turned on a lathe to true the shape. Engravers cut the pattern by hand with a hammer and chisel. The piece is polished on a buffing wheel and sealed with a clear lacquer so it stays bright without weekly cleaning.
Care, shipping and returns
Wipe with a dry cloth. Keep away from detergents and damp. Handmade pieces vary slightly in finish, that is the point.
Dispatch in 1 to 3 working days from India by tracked courier. Shipping is charged by parcel weight and shown at checkout. Import duties and taxes, if any, are collected by the courier on delivery.
