About this piece
This brass water bottle, the bucket style, is 12 inches high and weighs 2,140 grams. It is pure brass, polished and made in Moradabad, and holds water for the household or a puja. The round body is sturdy for daily use.
Rinse with clean water after each use and dry the outside. Lemon and salt clear tarnish from the rim. It is a practical gift for a new home or a wedding.

How it is made
Brass is melted and poured into sand moulds, cooled, then turned on a lathe to true the shape. Engravers cut the pattern by hand with a hammer and chisel. The piece is polished on a buffing wheel and sealed with a clear lacquer so it stays bright without weekly cleaning.

Wipe with a dry cloth. Keep away from detergents and damp. Handmade pieces vary slightly in finish, that is the point.
