About this piece
Slimmer at the base and 3.5 inches high, this iron dhoop burner weighs 190 grams. It is made in Moradabad and polished to resist everyday dust. The stand keeps ash off the mandir shelf while the incense burns down.
Dry it after each use and wipe away ash with a soft cloth. Oil the iron lightly before storing it in a damp season. Use it for a loban or agarbatti stand in a home temple, or as a small gift.
The craft
Moradabad. Cast, hammered and lacquered by hand, for three hundred years.
Sand cast, hand engraved, lacquer finished.

How it is made
Brass is melted and poured into sand moulds, cooled, then turned on a lathe to true the shape. Engravers cut the pattern by hand with a hammer and chisel. The piece is polished on a buffing wheel and sealed with a clear lacquer so it stays bright without weekly cleaning.
Care, shipping and returns
Wipe with a dry cloth. Keep away from detergents and damp. Handmade pieces vary slightly in finish, that is the point.
Dispatch in 1 to 3 working days from India by tracked courier. Shipping is charged by parcel weight and shown at checkout. Import duties and taxes, if any, are collected by the courier on delivery.
Arrived damaged or not as described? Send a photo on WhatsApp or email within 48 hours of delivery for a replacement or a full refund. International orders cannot be returned for a change of mind. Full international terms.
