Refund policy

If something isn't right, you shouldn't be out of pocket. Here's when refunds apply, how they're paid, and how long they take.

Last updated: June 2026

When a refund applies

  • Your item arrived damaged or defective.
  • Your item is not as described.
  • Your order was cancelled — by you before dispatch, or by us or a seller (for example, out of stock or a failed payment).

How refunds are issued

We currently operate on Cash on Delivery. Approved refunds are arranged by UPI or bank transfer — we'll ask for your account details once the refund is approved. When online payment methods launch, refunds will go back to your original payment method automatically.

Timelines

Once a refund is approved, it is typically processed within 5–7 business days. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take a little longer to appear on your statement.

Partial refunds

Where only part of an order is affected — for instance, one item in a multi-item order is damaged — we issue a partial refund for the affected item. Where an item is returned not in its original condition through no fault of ours, a partial refund may apply.

Non-refundable cases

  • Custom or made-to-order pieces are non-refundable unless they arrive damaged or not as described.
  • Natural variation in colour, grain and finish is a mark of a handmade, authentic craft — not a defect — and isn't grounds for a refund.
