Brass Deer Statues and Deer Pair Showpieces (Hiran)

This page holds 29 deer statues and showpieces from ₹710, from 3 to 44.2 inch tall. Twenty-four are pure brass, 3 are aluminium and 2 are wood. Weights run from 140 g to 45.48 kg and prices reach ₹1,16,970 for the tallest pairs.

There are two very different purchases here. Table pieces of 3 to 9.5 inch go on a console, a TV unit or a bookshelf, and include a running deer at 7.5 inch and matched pairs at 9 and 9.5 inch. Floor pieces of 28 inch and above are for a living room corner, a hotel lobby or the two sides of an entrance, and include pairs at 42.5 and 44.2 inch and a 30 inch reindeer. Many listings are pairs, a stag and a doe sold together, so check whether the price is for one deer or two. Antlers add height without adding much width, so also read the weight: it tells you how solid the body is. For an 8 inch table piece at a lower price, the aluminium deer is about 500 g.

Antlers and legs are the thin parts of a deer casting. Lift a statue by the body with both hands, never by the antlers. Stand large pairs on a flat floor away from a passage, and put felt pads under the hooves on marble or wood.
