About this collection
This page holds 24 Tirupati Balaji idols from ₹825, in heights from 3.5 inch to 70 inch. 20 are brass and 4 are aluminium. Most are the standing form of Lord Venkateswara, and a few are wall hangings that show Balaji in relief.
Choose the form, then the size. A wall hanging of about 7 inch is the answer when the mandir shelf is already full. Among the standing idols, the 3.5 inch pieces fit a desk or a small shelf, and the 4 to 4.5 inch idols suit a wall mandir. The 8.1 inch aluminium idol is a light option for a pooja room. Above that the idols become temple and entrance pieces: there is a 48 inch statue, and the tallest stands 70 inch. Weights run from 100 g to 108 kg. Anything in the tens of kilos needs a fixed pedestal and a ground-floor or load-checked spot, so message us about delivery before you order one.
Balaji idols carry fine work on the crown, the namam and the ornaments. Clean those areas with a soft brush and plain water, and keep lemon or tamarind for the plain surfaces so the detail does not wear flat over the years.
