About this collection

This page holds 30 small Shiva idols from ₹210, in heights from 1 to 3.8 inch. All 30 are pure brass, made in Moradabad, and weigh from 40 g to 750 g.

Three forms are here, so decide the form first. A Shivling is what most homes use for daily jal or abhishek, and they are listed from 1 inch to 3.8 inch. A seated Shiv Ji or Shankar murti, around 2.5 to 3.2 inch, is the one for a desk or a dashboard. Shiv Parivar, at 2 and 2.5 inch, shows the family on one base and suits a shelf mandir where there is no room for separate idols. For a car, take a seated murti or a Shivling with a flat base and fix it on a non-slip pad. A piece with a tall trishul or raised hood is easier to knock, so keep it away from the steering side. Half the pieces here cost ₹735 or less, which makes this an easy first idol for a hostel room or a new flat.

If you pour milk on a brass Shivling, rinse it with plain water straight after and dry it. Milk left on brass turns sour and leaves a dull film that is hard to rub off.

A seated Shiv Ji of about 2.5 to 3 inch, or a small Shivling, with a flat base on a non-slip pad.
Are these Shivlings solid brass or stone?
They are pure brass, like all 30 pieces on this page. There are no stone Shivlings here.
What is Shiv Parivar?
Shiva, Parvati, Ganesh and Kartikeya shown together, usually with Nandi. The small ones here are 2 and 2.5 inch on a single base.
