Terms of service

Plain terms for buying on Vedikcraft. If anything here is unclear, message us before you order.

Who you are buying from

Vedikcraft is a marketplace. Pieces are made and shipped by independent workshops in the craft hubs. Vedikcraft handles the listing, payment, customer service, returns and refunds, so your contract for service is with Vedikcraft and the workshop is responsible for the piece being as described.

The store is operated by Vedikcraft, Pital Market, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. Write to contact@vedikcraft.com for anything about an order or these terms.

Prices and payment

Prices are in Indian rupees and include GST. Payment is taken at checkout by UPI, card or cash on delivery. A cash on delivery order may be confirmed by phone or WhatsApp before dispatch.

Order acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send the dispatch message with a tracking link. If a piece turns out to be unavailable or mispriced, we tell you before dispatch and refund in full. A GST invoice is emailed with every order and available under Account, Orders.

Cancellation and returns

Orders can be cancelled free before dispatch. After delivery you have 7 days to return a piece as set out on the returns page, which forms part of these terms along with the shipping page and the privacy policy.

Handmade variation

Each piece is made by hand. Engraving, weight and colour vary slightly from the photographs and from piece to piece. Variation within the stated weight and size is not a defect.

Delivery and risk

Dispatch and delivery times are estimates, stated on the product page and the shipping page. Risk passes to you on delivery. Damage in transit reported within 48 hours is replaced or refunded.

Accounts and reseller pricing

Reseller accounts are for registered businesses and may be withdrawn if used for retail resale on marketplaces at prices below our retail price.

Content

Photographs, copy and hub stories are Vedikcraft’s or used with the workshop’s permission. Do not copy them for your own listings.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes fall under the courts of Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh.
