Radha Krishna Idols (Krishna Murti, Laddu Gopal, Radha Krishna Pair)
Radha Krishna · Kanha ji · Bansuri wale Krishna · Laddu Gopal · Radhe Shyam · pital ki murti
About these pieces
Krishna is kept in more forms than almost any other deity, and all of them are here. There is Radha Krishna as a pair, Krishna alone with his flute, and Laddu Gopal as a child, with or without a jhula. 222 are pure brass and 67 are aluminium, with 3 silver plated and 2 stainless steel pieces.
Choose the form first. The Radha Krishna pair is the usual choice for a couple's home and as a wedding gift. Krishna with the flute, standing with crossed feet, is tall and slim and needs height more than width. Laddu Gopal is for families who do daily seva. Then choose the size for the space. Standing idols are tall for their base, so weight matters for stability; the range runs from about 140 g to 34 kg.
The flute and the raised hands are the thin parts of the casting. Always lift a standing Krishna from the base.
