Aluminium Durga Maa Idols
About this collection
A Durga Maa murti is the centre of Navratri at many homes, and aluminium is the lighter choice for a family that sets up the puja for nine days and then stores it. The figure is easy to lift in and out of its place, and it gives a strong presence on a puja table without the weight of brass. Pick a height that fits the table where the murti will sit.
Aluminium is simple to care for: dust the carved areas with a soft brush, wipe with a dry cloth, and dampen the cloth only for stubborn dust. Dry the murti fully before storing it, so no moisture stays in the carving. A small cloth on the table protects the base from scratches.
