About this collection

This page holds 20 big Ram Darbar pieces from ₹7,120, in heights from 15 to 24 inch. Eighteen are pure brass and two are aluminium. They weigh from 3.9 kg to 25.5 kg and are made in Moradabad.

Read each listing name carefully, because the page mixes two things. A Ram Darbar is the full court: Ram, Sita and Lakshman with Hanuman. Some are cast on one base, such as the 15.3 inch brass piece and a 16 inch aluminium one. Others are sold as separate figures that make up the darbar, and you will see listings marked Laxman or Ram Ji, for example a 23 inch Ram Ji in brass and a 21 inch Ram Ji in aluminium. If you want the complete darbar, confirm with us which figures are in the price before you order. Half the pieces cost ₹24,990 or more. A darbar on one base is wide, so measure the altar width first. Separate figures are easier to carry, one at a time, and let you set the spacing. Either way the heavy pieces need a firm base and two people to lift.

The bow and arrow are the thinnest parts of a Ram murti. Never lift the idol by them, and keep hanging garlands off the bow so its weight does not bend it over time.

Good to know

Who is included in a Ram Darbar?
Ram, Sita and Lakshman, with Hanuman at their feet. Some listings here are single figures from the set, so check the name and photos.
Is the Ram Darbar on one base or separate idols?
Both kinds are listed. A single base is simpler to place, while separate idols are lighter to carry one by one.
How heavy is a big Ram Darbar?
Pieces on this page weigh from 3.9 kg to 25.5 kg. Listings include idols of 10.4 kg and 25 kg.
Is there a lighter option than brass?
Yes, two pieces are aluminium: a 16 inch Ram Darbar and a 21 inch Ram Ji. They weigh less than brass of the same height.
What size suits a home temple?
15 to 16 inch for a pooja room with a strong platform. The 21 to 24 inch pieces are for temples and halls.
