About this collection
A brass aftaba is a traditional water vessel, sold as an antique decor piece or for use. Sizes run from about 3.7 inch to 20 inch, and the weight differs a lot between them, from light small pieces to heavier tall ones. Choose the size that suits the shelf or the table where it will stand.
Wash the inside with warm water and dry it fully, since trapped water leaves marks. Polish the outside with a soft cloth and a mild cleaner when the brass dulls.
Good to know
Which size suits a shelf?
A smaller aftaba, around 4 to 8 inch, suits a shelf or a table.
How is the inside cleaned?
Rinse with warm water and dry the inside fully, since trapped water leaves marks.
Does a tall aftaba need a firm base?
A level, firm base holds a tall aftaba steady, especially when it is full.
