About this collection
A brass damru is a small hand drum associated with Shiva, used as a pooja piece or as a decor item. Sizes run from about 2.9 inch to 4.1 inch, and the numbered designs differ slightly in size. Each listing gives the number and size, so choose the one that fits the shrine.
Place the damru on a level tray or shelf, not on a sloped surface. Dust with a soft brush and polish the brass with a mild cleaner when it dulls.
Good to know
Where does a damru suit?
A small shrine, a pooja tray or a shelf suits a damru placed where it can be seen.
Does the size change the use?
Smaller damrus suit a desk or tray; larger ones suit a shelf or shrine.
How should brass be cleaned?
Wipe with a soft cloth; for dull patches, use a mild cleaner and dry it fully.
