Brass Ram Darbar Idols
About this collection
These Ram Darbar idols are all brass: Ram, Sita and Lakshman with Hanuman at their feet. The sizes begin around 12 inches and go to 15, the height of a pooja room or temple piece rather than a desk figure.
Brass at this size is heavy. A 14 inch piece at about 11.6 kg needs a firm table or built-in niche, not a thin shelf. Check the weight against what your mandir can bear before you order.
Brass darkens slowly and takes a soft golden-brown tone. Dust it and, when the tone dulls, clean with a lemon and salt rub.
