About this collection

This page holds 38 copper water bottles from ₹765, from 3.5 to 16 inch tall and 90 g to 2.79 kg. All 38 are copper. The range covers plain bottles, a silk finish in copper, blue, green and black, and larger cooler-style bottles.

Think about where the bottle will travel. For an office bag or the car, a bottle of 10 to 11.5 inch is the usual carry size, and the listings at 10 and 10.5 inch hold 900 ml. The cooler-style pieces at 11 and 16 inch are for a counter or a desk, not a bag. Check the weight on the listing, since an empty bottle that is already heavy becomes a load once it is full. Half of the range is priced at about ₹1,365 or less, and the largest pieces go up to ₹10,210.

Storing water in copper overnight is a long-standing practice in many Indian homes. Keep the bottle for plain water at room temperature. Do not pour in hot water, juice, milk or anything with lemon. Clean the inside once a week: fill it a quarter with water, add lemon juice and salt, shake, and rinse well. Dry it with the cap off.
