Curios, Budget Pick
About this collection
Curios at this budget are small brass pieces, such as pan dan boxes and kajal containers. The samples are mostly brass, in sizes from about 0.7 to 1 inch, so the weight and height on each piece help you judge how it looks on a shelf. Each piece gives its height and weight, so compare them first.
Wash brass curios with warm water and a little mild soap, and dry them fully after cleaning. Kajal containers and small boxes need a dry cloth inside, so the metal does not hold damp. Keep the inside dry and check the lid or hinge each month.
Good to know
What is a pan dan box?
A pan dan is a small box for betel leaves and spices, and a brass one is kept as a decorative piece or a gift.
Is a kajal dani a good small gift?
Yes; a small brass kajal container is a personal gift, and at under an inch it is easy to keep on a shelf.
How should a small brass curio be cleaned?
Dust it with a soft brush, wipe with mild soap and water for dirt, and dry the inside and outside fully.
