Diyas and Deepaks, 15 inch and above, Under ₹5,000
About this collection
Tall diyas and deepaks, 15 inch and above, under this band are chosen for a temple, an entrance or a large puja room, where the flame is seen across the space. At this price the pieces are lighter than the larger ones, though a tall stand still needs a firm base. The thing that matters most is the base: a wide, steady foot stops a tall piece tipping once oil is in the cup.
Most of these are brass, and each listing names the metal. Lift the piece from its base rather than the stem or arms, and dust it with a soft brush. Never leave a flame unattended, and keep the flame away from curtains and wood.
