About this collection
A griha pravesh starts with a kalash carried over the threshold and ends with the first aarti in the new mandir. The gifts that fit the day are the ones used in that ceremony and after: a brass kalash, a Laxmi Ganesh pair, a thali for the aarti, an urli for the entrance, and the vastu pieces people ask for in a new home, the tortoise, the elephant pair, the Kuber.
Every piece here is cast in Moradabad, boxed, and can carry the family name or the date on the base.
Good to know
What is the traditional gift for griha pravesh?
A kalash or lota filled with rice or water, a Laxmi Ganesh idol, or a lamp. Modern picks add an urli for the entrance and a planter.
Which vastu items are gifted for a new home?
A brass tortoise for the north east, an elephant pair for the entrance, a Kuber idol for the locker, and a swan pair for the bedroom.
Should the gift be given empty?
No. A kalash or lota is never given empty; put rice, a coin or water in it before handing it over.
Can I send it directly to the new address?
Yes, with a printed message card. Add the griha pravesh date in order notes.
Do you have budget options under ₹1,000?
