Kalash, 15 inch and above, Above ₹5,000
About this collection
Large brass kalash pots of fifteen inch and above are placed in a temple, a large puja hall or at a festival ceremony. At this height the vessel is the centre of the ceremony and needs a firm floor or a sturdy platform that can carry its weight when it is full.
Brass of this size is heavy and needs a dry, level base. Clean the outside with a soft brush and a dry cloth, and wash the inside with warm water and a little lime when needed. Dry it fully before storing, and check the base after any move.
