Glass Sets in Brass, Silver Plated Brass and Steel (Gilas Set)

This page holds 18 glass sets from ₹435, with glasses 2.3 to 9.8 inch tall, sold in sets of 2, 4 and 6. Be clear on the metal before you choose: 10 sets are silver plated brass, 4 are stainless steel, 2 are aluminium and 2 are pure brass with no plating.

Pick by what the glasses are for. The steel sets of 6 are small cups of 120 and 160 ml, 3 inch tall, for tea, chai at a function or daily use. The silver plated sets include 4 inch gilas in a set of 6 and tall goblets of 9 to 9.8 inch in pairs and fours, which are for the dining table and for gifting. The pure brass sets are the heavy ones, with one set of 6 weighing 2.6 kg. Set weights run from 40 g to 4.56 kg, so the listing weight tells you at once whether you are looking at light cups or solid metal.

Silver plating needs gentle care. Wash by hand with mild soap, dry with a soft cloth and keep it away from steel wool and lemon. Plain brass can take a lemon and salt rub.
