Curios, 4 to 8 inch, Above ₹5,000
About this collection
Curios from four to eight inch in the higher band are finer antique-style brass pieces: a chess piece, a cow cart and other decorative objects. At this size they sit on a shelf, a study table or a display cabinet, and each reads well up close.
Brass curios develop a patina that many collectors value, so clean them gently. Dust with a soft brush and wipe with a dry cloth, and avoid harsh polish that can strip the antique look. Keep moving parts, such as a cart's wheels, clear of dust.
