Singhasans, 8 to 15 inch, Under ₹5,000
About this collection
Singhasans of eight to fifteen inch are the larger seats for a murti in a home mandir or a temple corner. The seat should be wider than the figure's base so the idol sits level and stays upright, and its height brings the figure to a comfortable eye level in the room.
Brass singhasans are solid and hold their finish with regular dusting. Clean the carving with a soft brush and wipe the flat seat with a dry cloth. Check that the seat stands level on the shelf before placing the figure on it, and dry any damp spot at once.
