Singhasans Under ₹1,000
About this collection
A singhasan is the seat on which a small idol or Laddu Gopal is placed in a home shrine. In this band the seats are small brass pieces, sized for a desk-scale murti or a small shelf, and the choice depends on the figure they will hold.
Brass seats hold their shape and need only a soft cloth most weeks. Dust the carving with a soft brush and wipe the flat seat with a dry cloth. Keep the seat level so the figure sits upright, and check the fit before placing the figure on it.
Good to know
What size singhasan suits a small Laddu Gopal?
Choose a seat a little wider than the figure's base, so the figure sits level without overhanging the edge.
Can a singhasan be used for other idols?
Yes. Any small figure whose base fits the seat can sit on it, so check the fit first.
How is the brass seat cleaned?
Dust with a soft brush and wipe with a dry cloth. Use a damp cloth only for dust that has built up.
