About these pieces
Human figures in brass: Rajasthani musicians with their instruments, lady statues, a bigul player and Lady Justice. Twenty-six are brass and one is aluminium. Sizes run from about 4.5 inch to 19 inch, and weights from 920 g to about 7.78 kg, so even the small ones are solid.
Musician sets are bought as a group, often three pieces, and need a shelf wide enough to stand them in a row with a little gap. Check whether the listing is a set or a single figure. A single lady statue of 14 inch is a statement piece for a console or a corner table. Lady Justice is the usual pick for an advocate's chamber or a law student, and some pieces come with a velvet box, which makes gifting easier.
These figures have thin parts: instruments, arms, scales. Lift each one by the base. Dust with a soft brush, and keep polish away from any dark or coloured finish.
