International orders: shipping, duties and returns
We ship from the workshops in India to 63 countries by tracked courier. This page covers delivery, customs duties, payment and what happens if a piece arrives damaged.
Shipping cost and delivery time
Every order is packed for export and dispatched in 1 to 3 working days. Shipping is charged by the packed weight of your parcel and shown at checkout before you pay. Several pieces in one parcel cost little more to ship than one, so it pays to order together.
The table shows what a packed parcel costs to send and how long it takes door to door, dispatch included. Packing adds about 15% to the weight shown on a listing.

Parcels heavier than the courier carries to your country in one box are sent by freight. Message us on WhatsApp for a quote. Delivery times are estimates from the courier and can run longer during customs checks or public holidays.
You get a tracking link by email as soon as the parcel is handed to the courier.
Minimum order
International orders start at $50, before shipping. Below that, the shipping cost outweighs the piece.
Customs duties and taxes
Prices and shipping on this site do not include import duties, VAT, GST or customs handling fees charged by your country. If any apply, the courier collects them from you before or at delivery. The amount is set by your customs office, not by us, and we cannot tell you the figure in advance.
We declare the true value of every parcel on the customs invoice. Please do not ask us to mark an order as a gift or lower its value. If you refuse a parcel because of duties, the courier returns it to India at our cost, and we refund the pieces but not the shipping in either direction.
Payment
Place your order on the site and we confirm it by email or WhatsApp within one working day, with a secure payment link in your currency. Your order is packed and dispatched once the payment is received. Nothing is collected in cash at your door. Online card and PayPal payment at checkout is being added.
Damaged, wrong or missing pieces
Open the parcel when it arrives. If a piece is damaged, not the one you ordered, or missing, email contact@vedikcraft.com or message us on WhatsApp within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos of the piece and the box.
- We reply within one working day.
- You choose a replacement sent at our cost, or a refund of the piece and its share of the shipping.
- Refunds go back to the original payment method within 7 working days of our reply. You do not need to send the damaged piece back unless we ask, and if we ask we pay for it.
Returns for a change of mind
International orders cannot be returned or exchanged because you changed your mind. Sending a piece back to India costs more than most pieces are worth, and returned parcels are charged duty again on the way in. Please check the weight and size on the listing before you order, and ask us for more photos if you are unsure.
Handmade pieces vary slightly in finish, tone and size from the photos. That variation is not a defect.
Cancelling an order
You can cancel for a full refund any time before the parcel is handed to the courier. Once it has been dispatched it cannot be recalled.
What we cannot send
Some countries restrict religious items or metal goods. Where we know a piece cannot be imported, the checkout will tell you before you pay. You are responsible for checking that what you order can be imported into your country.
