About this piece
This aluminium serving leaf platter is polished and made in Moradabad. It weighs 500 grams and has a shallow base for serving sweets, snacks, or prasad. The leaf shape is set on a box tray for a neat look.
Wipe with a soft dry cloth after each use and dry fully. Aluminium scratches easily, so avoid scouring pads. It suits a festive table or a gift for a host.
The craft
Moradabad. Cast, hammered and lacquered by hand, for three hundred years.
Sand cast, hand engraved, lacquer finished.

How it is made
Brass is melted and poured into sand moulds, cooled, then turned on a lathe to true the shape. Engravers cut the pattern by hand with a hammer and chisel. The piece is polished on a buffing wheel and sealed with a clear lacquer so it stays bright without weekly cleaning.
Care, shipping and returns
Wipe with a dry cloth. Keep away from detergents and damp. Handmade pieces vary slightly in finish, that is the point.
Dispatch in 1 to 3 working days from India by tracked courier. Shipping is charged by parcel weight and shown at checkout. Import duties and taxes, if any, are collected by the courier on delivery.
Arrived damaged or not as described? Send a photo on WhatsApp or email within 48 hours of delivery for a replacement or a full refund. International orders cannot be returned for a change of mind. Full international terms.
