About this piece

This brass trishul for pooja is 74 inches tall and weighs 3,600 grams. It is pure brass, polished and made in Moradabad, and built as a ceremonial staff for a temple. The tines are finished with clean lines.

Dust with a dry cloth and keep the trishul dry. Clean tarnish with lemon and salt, then rinse fully. It is a fitting gift for a temple or a Shiv mandir.

How it is made

Brass is melted and poured into sand moulds, cooled, then turned on a lathe to true the shape. Engravers cut the pattern by hand with a hammer and chisel. The piece is polished on a buffing wheel and sealed with a clear lacquer so it stays bright without weekly cleaning.

Care, shipping and returns

Wipe with a dry cloth. Keep away from detergents and damp. Handmade pieces vary slightly in finish, that is the point.

Dispatch in 1 to 3 working days from India by tracked courier. Shipping is charged by parcel weight and shown at checkout. Import duties and taxes, if any, are collected by the courier on delivery.
