Copper Lotas, 3 inch
About this collection
A 3 inch copper lota is a small pooja vessel for water and offerings in a home shrine. The capacity is in the name, so check the millilitre figure before you choose. Two lotas of the same height can hold different amounts, and their weights differ too, so compare the listing figures rather than the photo.
Rinse the lota with water after each use and dry it fully, since moisture leaves marks on copper. Copper tarnishes when it stays damp, so keep it dry when stored. Polish the outside with a soft cloth when it dulls.
