About this piece
This second aluminium pooja thali is 1.5 inches high and weighs 240 grams. Polished and made in Moradabad, it is a shallow tray for a daily puja. The rim is smooth for easy handling.
Dry the tray after each puja and wipe with a soft cloth. Avoid scouring pads on aluminium. It is a useful gift for a puja corner.

How it is made
Brass is melted and poured into sand moulds, cooled, then turned on a lathe to true the shape. Engravers cut the pattern by hand with a hammer and chisel. The piece is polished on a buffing wheel and sealed with a clear lacquer so it stays bright without weekly cleaning.
Care, shipping and returns
Wipe with a dry cloth. Keep away from detergents and damp. Handmade pieces vary slightly in finish, that is the point.
Dispatch in 1 to 3 working days from India by tracked courier. Shipping is charged by parcel weight and shown at checkout. Import duties and taxes, if any, are collected by the courier on delivery.
